New this year, all of the seminars at Exposure will be organized into Learning Tracks, enabling you to quickly and easily locate the topics of interest to you. A Learning Track will consist of session topics and events that fall under a broad category or theme. For example, in the Track called "Travel and Nature" you will find a session about what gear a photojournalist from the Toronto Star has with them when traveling in Yemen, as well as another session on tips for outdoor photography.

Each track and the sessions contained within it are colour-coded for easy reference.

Lighting

From the drama created by a single poignant light source to full on-location shoots, this learning track explores the life of lighting in all its glory! Check out the latest in lighting fixtures for photo and video, and listen to presentations that describe how to achieve the look you're after.

Travel and Nature

Get up close and personal with the tips and practices of industry pros as they explain how they captured those amazing images from around the world, from photojournalists covering conflict situations in the east to landscape and macro photography that you can use in and around your own backyard.

Software and Workflow

Check out the latest software available for photo and video manipulation and enhancement as well as applications that will help you to keep your files safe and manageable. Tips for staying organized, backing up your files and more will be covered in this learning track.

Hands-on

Dive right in with Henry's School of Imaging computer Labs! Learn the basics of how to use Adobe software like Photoshop or Lightroom to edit and organize your photos, or delve into an introduction to video editing that will enable you to capture and present those memorable moments like never before! These hands-on seminars are taught using the latest software from Adobe and Apple on state-of-the-art iMacs. Seating for these Free Courses is limited so pre-registration at the Expo is available on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of!
